UCCA館長田霏宇說：「這裡不是另一座紫砂壺博物館，而是一個讓宜興陶藝走向更廣闊天地的當代藝術機構。」

✨ Yixing’s New Landmark: UCCA Ceramic Art Museum Featured in Financial Times!
Designed by Kengo Kuma, the UCCA Ceramic Art Museum features an exterior made of 3,600 local ceramic tiles. The kiln-transformation process gives the tiles a dragon-scale-like shimmer under sunlight 🐉. More than an architectural marvel, it brings Yixing’s ceramic culture to the global stage, offering a window into contemporary Chinese ceramic art 🎨.
As UCCA Director Philip Tinari stated, “This is not another purple clay teapot museum, but a contemporary art institution empowering Yixing’s ceramic art to reach broader horizons.”
